Shungite

Shungite is only found around Lake Onega in Russia. In its raw state, it is powdery like carbon. It is stablised to be made into jewellery and polished into shapes. It can often be mistaken for hematite, but hematite has more of a silvery mirror like shine.

As well as being protective against environmental toxins, shungite will protect you from the negative energies of other people. It is particularly useful if you find you are spending a lot of time around people who drain your energy, or if you pick up other’s emotions easily. Pick up a piece of shungite and feel that heaviness drop away from your energy field. It will then help you to recharge and replenish.
